Episode #72 : You Are My Witnesses

In this episode broadcast on August 2, 2022 on WROL radio in Boston, MA, Fr. Tom DiLorenzo reads from and comments upon chapters 42 and 43 of Isaiah. In chapter 42 the Father says, "Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one , in whom I delight. I have put my Spirit upon him." This is Jesus, the son of God and our Savior. Later in chapter 43 God tells us, "Do not fear, I have redeemed you, I have called you by name, you are mine." Now we, too, are his servants and his witnesses. As Christians, little Christs, we share in the ministry of Jesus, to open the eyes of the blind and to set the captives free. What a wonderful privilege and honor has been bestowed on us.

Fr. Thomas DiLorenzo

Father Tom DiLorenzo was born in East Boston, Massachusetts in 1946. He graduated from Salem State College, Salem Ma. in 1968, and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Boston by Humberto Cardinal Medeiros in 1979. He has served as a parochial vicar at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy, Ma and at St. Adelaide's Church, Peabody, Ma. Then he spent 25 years as the Administrator of Holy Rosary Church in Winthrop, just outside Boston. Currently he is a senior priest in residence at St. John's Church in Quincy, Ma.
Father Tom has been active in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for over four decades, and has preached at countless conferences and prayer meetings. In 1984 he began "In Season and Out of Season", a Catholic, evangelical, bible-based outreach on radio.
Fr. Tom has a great love for the Church and has made the enhancement of the spirituality of parish life a priority in his ministry.
