The Sabbath Is Made For Man

Episode #74 : The Sabbath Is Made For Man

In this episode from August 5, 2022, Fr. Tom DiLorenzo continues to read from and comment upon the second and third chapters of the gospel of Mark. The Pharisees oppose Jesus because they believe that he and his disciples are doing what is not lawful on on the sabbath. Jesus is not intimidated but responds, "The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath: so the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath." So Jesus continues to do good, to heal and set people free from demonic influence, whenever and wherever that is needed, including in the synagogues on the sabbath.
