In this episode from June 28, 2022, Fr. Tom DiLorenzo reads from and comments upon Amos chapter 8 verses 11 and 12 where the prophet declares that there is coming a time of famine of hearing the word of God. We need men and women to speak the life giving word of God. Then he continues his commentary on the wonders God did through the life of the prophet Elisha as depicted in the second book of Kings chapters 4 and 5.

Fr. Thomas DiLorenzo

Father Tom DiLorenzo was born in East Boston, Massachusetts in 1946. He graduated from Salem State College, Salem Ma. in 1968, and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Boston by Humberto Cardinal Medeiros in 1979. He has served as a parochial vicar at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy, Ma and at St. Adelaide's Church, Peabody, Ma. Then he spent 25 years as the Administrator of Holy Rosary Church in Winthrop, just outside Boston. Currently he is a senior priest in residence at St. John's Church in Quincy, Ma.
Father Tom has been active in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for over four decades, and has preached at countless conferences and prayer meetings. In 1984 he began "In Season and Out of Season", a Catholic, evangelical, bible-based outreach on radio.
Fr. Tom has a great love for the Church and has made the enhancement of the spirituality of parish life a priority in his ministry.
