In this episode broadcast on WROL Radio in Boston, MA on July 14, 2022, Fr. Tom DiLorenzo is joined by fellow evangelist, Anthony Correnti. They read from and comment upon Genesis Chapter 12 verses 1-3. Abram, later renamed Abraham by God, was called by God to leave his home and kinsmen and travel to the land God would show him. In faith and trust Abram obeyed God. He was the first to follow. Because he did so, his progeny became a great nation, and all the nations on the earth have been blessed through his offspring, Jesus, the Savior of the world. Abraham is now the father of our faith. Let's act in faith as Abraham did. Let's live the life of faith, without which no one can please God.

Fr. Thomas DiLorenzo

Father Tom DiLorenzo was born in East Boston, Massachusetts in 1946. He graduated from Salem State College, Salem Ma. in 1968, and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Boston by Humberto Cardinal Medeiros in 1979. He has served as a parochial vicar at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy, Ma and at St. Adelaide's Church, Peabody, Ma. Then he spent 25 years as the Administrator of Holy Rosary Church in Winthrop, just outside Boston. Currently he is a senior priest in residence at St. John's Church in Quincy, Ma.
Father Tom has been active in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for over four decades, and has preached at countless conferences and prayer meetings. In 1984 he began "In Season and Out of Season", a Catholic, evangelical, bible-based outreach on radio.
Fr. Tom has a great love for the Church and has made the enhancement of the spirituality of parish life a priority in his ministry.
